OfflinAI Photos Lite

About the app

Photos Lite opens your folders of photos and screenshots as fast thumbnails and shows any picture with smooth zoom. You can find the receipt photo from the hardware shop or the whiteboard picture from March by describing it in one search box.

In the background, the picture model in OfflinAI Server writes a short description of each picture, reads any text in it and adds a few tags. Search then works on names, titles, descriptions, text found and tags, by words and by meaning. The model is told never to name or identify people, and the app has no face grouping.

Give pictures a star rating, a title and tags of your own. These are kept beside your collection and never written into your pictures. Filter by folder, tag, rating or the day taken.

Adjust exposure, contrast, saturation and warmth with a live preview, and save the result as a new copy beside the original. Export one picture or a batch as JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP or TIFF at a size you choose. A file that already exists is never replaced. You can also copy the text found in a picture.

The viewer supports fit, actual size, panning and quarter turns. Turns are remembered beside the collection and the file is never changed. Supported files are PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP and TIFF.

Descriptions, tags and text reading use OfflinAI Server running on your own PC. Without it, browsing, ratings, adjustments and export still work, and pictures are described when it is ready. The thumbnails, catalog and search index are encrypted on your PC. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to OfflinAI, there is no account, and no data is collected.
