About the app

Support Desk Lite is for a one-person business that answers customer questions from a single support address. It reads that mailbox into a list of conversations, drafts a reply to each new message from your own answer articles, and leaves you to read, correct and send.

Every sentence in a draft is tied to the article it came from, and the line that backs it is shown under the editor. Sentences the articles do not back are removed. When your articles do not cover the question, the draft asks the customer a clarifying question instead and says so.

Conversations are listed newest first or most urgent first, and filtered as New, Waiting, Done or All. A customer's reply reopens a conversation that was waiting or done. Language and urgency are read from each message, and a topic such as billing, refund, delivery or returns is added after each check.

A reply is never sent without you. Send it in one step, choose whether the conversation then waits or is done, and optionally keep the reply as a new answer article so the next draft improves. Replies go out from the mailbox the customer wrote to, threaded under their message.

Write and edit your answer articles in Markdown, import Markdown or text files, or import a web page you name. Use Ask your articles to see what a draft would say.

The app connects to one mailbox over IMAP and SMTP with a password or app password. Drafts and topic labels use OfflinAI Server running on your own PC. Without it, the closest articles are listed for you to answer from. Your mail, conversations and articles are encrypted on your PC. Mail goes only between your own mail servers and your PC. Nothing is sent to OfflinAI, there is no account, and no data is collected.
